How to Receive Your Certificate

• Participants receive a certificate of provisional completion after completion of the online portion of the course and the knowledge checks (XXX ASHA CEUs). A certificate of final completion is provided after attending the group coaching session (additional XXX ASHA CEUs).
• The certificate documents completion of the specific Verdolini Voice training program in question, and is valid for two years from the date of issue. 
• The certificates reflect course completion. Certificates are separate from professional licensure and do not replace any state, national, or institutional requirements for clinical practice.
• Only ASHA members may recieve ASHA CEUs. Only accredited SLPs in any country may use the material for clinical practice.  

Certificate Renewal & Continuing Development

• Voice therapy skills grow through continued practice, reflection, and feedback. The renewal process gives participants a structured way to revisit course concepts, ask questions, and strengthen confidence in clinical application.
• Certificates of completion are valid for two years from the date of issue.
• To renew certificate status at the end of the two-year period, participants must complete the renewal requirements, including participation in at least one quarterly group coaching session per year during the active certification period.
• These meetings include updates on research related to the courses, opportunities for questions, and discussion of common challenges clinicians experience when applying the methods in practice.
• Participants who complete the renewal requirements receive updated documentation of continued participation with attendant ASHA CEUs.
• ASHA CEU reporting for eligible live coaching may be offered separately when available and may require separate registration and completion of CE requirements.
• Participants who do not complete the renewal requirements before their certificate expires may apply for reinstatement. Reinstatement requirements may vary depending on how long the certificate has been expired and may include participation in a quarterly group coaching session, completion of a refresher activity, or additional review of course materials.
