Verdolini Voice Bundle

The Verdolini Voice Bundle is an online training package for speech-language pathologists and voice clinicians who want structured training in both Voice Therapy Spectrum (VTS) and Adventure in Voice (AiV).

This bundle brings together adult and pediatric voice training within one coordinated learning package. It includes Voice Therapy Spectrum for adult voice, focused on Lessac-Madsen Resonant Voice Therapy (LMRVT) and Casper-Stone Confidential Flow Therapy (CSCFT), along with Adventure in Voice, a novel approach to pediatric voice therapy that helps children learn healthy and expressive ways to use their voices.

Together, the courses support clinicians in understanding what to target in voice therapy, how to help patients acquire and habituate new voice behaviors, and how to facilitate engagement, motivation, and participation to optimize treatment outcomes.

The bundle is delivered online, making it accessible to clinicians who wish to complete the training from their own location and return to the material as part of their continued learning.

The Clinical Reasoning Behind VTS and AiV

The Verdolini Voice Bundle components are grounded in basic voice science, voice biomechanics and biology, perceptual-motor learning, and patient engagement literature. Across both courses, participants learn to think beyond memorized therapy steps and develop a stronger clinical reasoning framework for selecting, shaping, and adapting therapy based on the patient, pathology, developmental level, and treatment goals.

Voice Therapy Spectrum presents LMRVT and CSCFT as related approaches within a broader voice therapy framework. LMRVT targets relatively more complete vocal fold closure compared to CSCFT and the use of a semi-occluded vocal tract in training compared with CSCFT. In turn, CSCFT targets slightly greater vocal fold abduction without the use of a semi-occluded vocal tract.

Both approaches generate voice that falls within the range of optimal vocal economy, favoring good acoustic output with relatively minimal vocal fold impact stress and minimal subglottic pressure. Both also rely on shared principles of motor learning and patient engagement. The choice between approaches depends on clinician judgment, patient preference, and patient pathology.

Adventure in Voice extends these basic sciences and clinical reasoning into pediatric voice therapy. AiV is grounded in basic voice science suggesting that a barely adducted or abducted vocal fold configuration supports strong voice output while minimizing damaging vocal fold impact stresses and subglottic pressure in phonation. This biomechanical foundation gives clinicians a way to think beyond simple “do not be loud” or “be quiet” instructions. Instead, AiV supports the development of voice behaviors that are developmentally appropriate, clinically practical, and grounded in voice physiology and learning.

AiV also differs from traditional learning models that rely heavily on instrumental conditioning and extrinsic rewards. Instead, it uses fun activities and intrinsic rewards to support long-term learning. The approach incorporates findings from healthcare literature related to enhancing children’s engagement in therapy, helping clinicians think more carefully about participation, motivation, and carryover.

Together, VTS and AiV give clinicians a broad framework for understanding voice therapy across adult and pediatric popilations, including biomechanical targets, biological consequences, perceptual-motor learning and patient engagement principles.

What This Course Covers

This online bundle provides foundational knowledge in basic voice science, voice biomechanics and biology, perceptual-motor learning, and patient engagement factors. 

From there, the bundle moves into step-by-step clinical training in Lessac-Madsen Resonant Voice Therapy (LMRVT), Casper-Stone Confidential Flow Therapy (CSCFT), and Adventure in Voice (AiV). Participants learn how each method is organized, how therapy targets are selected, and how clinical decisions are made as treatment progresses. 

In Voice Therapy Spectrum, participants learn LMRVT and CSCFT as related approaches within a broader clinical framework. demonstrations allow learners to observe how therapy is introduced, shaped, and progressed in actual clinical interactions.

In Adventure in Voice, participants also aquire the foregoing basic science information and step-by-step AiV clinical implementation. The course presents how the method is organized, how it is applied in therapy, and how clinical decisions are made as treatment progresses. 

The bundle also includes one-on-one and group therapy demonstrations, allowing learners to observe how LMRVT, CSCFT and AiV unfold across real clinical sessions.

The Bundle also presents outcome data for LMRVT, CSCFT, and AiV based on large-scale clinical trials. In addition, participants are introduced to methods for creating individualized voice therapy for patients, beyond these structured approches.

The bundle includes the related LMRVT, CSCFT, and AiV Clinician Manuals to support professional learning and clinical application. The patient manuals can be purchased seperatedly from the MANUALS page of this website.

Participants also complete knowledge checks to support learning and meet completion requirements.

Bundle registration includes access to free group coaching sessions offered four times per year for two years. These sessions give participants opportunities to ask questions, review course concepts, and strengthen clinical implementation.

CEUs and Certificate of Completion

Upon successful completion of the required course components, participants receive a certificate of completion, valid for two years.

To renew certificate status after the initial two-year period, participants must complete the renewal requirements, including participation in at least one quarterly group coaching session per year.
