Policies & Learner Information
These policies apply to all Verdolini Voice courses and educational activities.
Privacy & Security
We respect your privacy. Verdolini Voice does not sell your personal information and only shares information as needed to provide our services, meet applicable requirements, or with your permission.
Information may be processed through service providers used to operate our courses and business, such as our learning management system, payment processor, and email platform. When applicable and authorized by the learner, information required for ASHA CE reporting may also be shared with ASHA.
We take reasonable measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Questions or requests regarding your personal information may be directed to [email protected].
Professional Conduct & Nondiscrimination
Verdolini Voice is committed to providing a professional, respectful, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Learners, instructors, staff, contractors, and others participating in Verdolini Voice educational activities are expected to communicate respectfully, act professionally, maintain appropriate confidentiality, and support constructive participation.
Verdolini Voice does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
Concerns regarding professional conduct or discrimination may be reported to [email protected].
Accessibility & Reasonable Accommodations
Verdolini Voice is committed to supporting equitable access to its online educational activities.
Learners may request reasonable accommodations related to participation in a course or educational activity. Requests will be considered individually based on the learner's needs and the requirements and format of the course.
Reasonable accommodations may include captions or transcripts, accessible electronic materials, reasonable modifications to assessment procedures, or other appropriate arrangements.
Learners are encouraged to submit accommodation requests as early as possible by contacting [email protected]. Requests will be handled respectfully and confidentially.
Refunds & Cancellations
Refund requests for online courses may be submitted within 15 days of purchase, provided the course has not been accessed. Approved refunds are subject to a 10% processing and administrative fee.
Once course content or downloadable materials have been accessed, purchases are generally nonrefundable, except where required by law or in exceptional circumstances.
If Verdolini Voice cancels or reschedules an educational activity, affected learners will be offered a full refund or an appropriate alternative, with no processing fee.
Refund requests may be submitted to [email protected].
Complaints & Resolution
Learners may submit concerns or complaints regarding a Verdolini Voice course, instructor, educational activity, policy, or administrative process by contacting [email protected].
Complaints will be reviewed by the appropriate Verdolini Voice representative. We will consider the information provided, communicate with the learner as needed, and provide a response or resolution in a timely manner.
Intellectual Property & Use of Course Materials
Unless otherwise stated, Verdolini Voice course videos, manuals, handouts, graphics, assessments, worksheets, and other educational materials are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.
Course registration provides the individual learner with access to the materials for their own educational and professional use. Registration does not transfer ownership of the materials.
Learners may not reproduce, distribute, upload, sell, share, translate, adapt, publicly display, or otherwise make course materials available to others without appropriate written permission.
Course accounts and login information may not be shared with another person.
Requests for permission to use Verdolini Voice materials beyond the permitted course use may be directed to [email protected].
Course Access & Completion
Each course includes specific requirements for satisfactory completion. These requirements may include viewing required course content, completing quizzes or other assessments, submitting required evaluations, and meeting any minimum performance requirements identified for the course.
Specific completion requirements and deadlines will be provided on the applicable course page or during registration.
Course access periods vary by course and are stated at the time of registration.
Certificates
A certificate of completion is provided when the learner successfully satisfies the stated completion requirements for the course.
Certificates document completion of a Verdolini Voice educational activity. They do not independently confer professional certification, licensure, or other credentials.
Learners are responsible for ensuring that a course meets any requirements established by their licensing board, professional organization, employer, or other authority.
ASHA Continuing Education
ASHA CEUs are available only for courses that are specifically identified by Verdolini Voice as being offered for ASHA CEUs.
When an activity is offered for ASHA CEUs, information regarding the number of ASHA CEUs, instructional level, satisfactory completion requirements, and the process for indicating intent to earn ASHA CEUs will be provided before enrollment.
Learners requesting ASHA CEUs may be required to provide information necessary for reporting participation to ASHA and to authorize Verdolini Voice to submit that information.
A Verdolini Voice certificate of completion does not by itself confirm that ASHA CEUs have been awarded or recorded by ASHA.
Email Communications
Verdolini Voice may send course-related communications necessary to provide access, learner support, certificates, and other information related to a learner's registration.
Learners who subscribe to promotional emails may unsubscribe at any time. Verdolini Voice does not sell personal information and only shares it as needed to provide our services or with permission.
Policy Updates
Verdolini Voice may update these policies periodically to reflect changes in our courses, services, professional requirements, or applicable laws. The current version will be available on this website.
